Just read an article where a woman fasted her dog for 1 day, the dog died, and the woman was arrested for cruelty to animals because of the 1-day fasting! Link here:

Kelly, He looks awesome! The way the sun is it's hard to tell, but it looks like he's pretty shiny too :-) Handsome boy. How old is he?
Tess, I agree there is NO WAY that fasting a dog for one day a week would kill it. It died from something else and I can't believe they didn't do an autopsy! I would have insisted, it's really not that expensive. Especially when it means your reputation on the line! Anyway, no way did that dog die from 24 hours of not eating. In fact I believe a few people here do that regularly... Poor lady.

I love training him in advanced OB. He is very handler oriented. I need to get my hind end into this new schutzhund club that is kinda close to home. He would really enjoy it!
