Good luck to you and your brother Steve! This pup will keep you both young! ;-)

There is no perfect time to bring a new puppy in, anyway. Maybe there are others out there like me, who  always seem to end up with a new puppy when there is a lot going on. It just happens. I'm glad you are going for it.

We'd love to see picts!

That is so cool  Steve, Congrates, it keeps you young.
Always,

I don't think you are mad at all.  Very nice parents on your pup.  All the best with her!  You said you are getting another  female, do you prefer females Steve?

by bgstout on 21 April 2010 - 17:04

Steve,

Looks like a nice puppy, mother and father both in BSP!

Red Sable & Bgstout
Do you know that in 60 years of keeping dogs of various breeds, i have never had a Female Dog until i got little Heidi, then her accident at about 15 weeks old,
So then i had the chance of picking the Male to mate to Izzy's Mother, and I am sure i picked the right one, but time will tell How Izzy came about was watching the Pups in the Garden when they were Babies so i had first choice and i picked her, Now again i think a Female Pup but my brother will handle her mostly and he had his choice of Male or Female, She is ready about 10 May, and  i will have a 9 hour drive each way to pick her up very near the  Border of Austria but just inside Germany
Her name will be Gina and her Mother is full sister to Como of Ronny van den Bergh who as you know is Father of Izzy
The Father of the Pup Javir, will i think be working his way towards competing in this years WUSV in Sevilla having been 3rd and i think 4th WUSV,So with the fathers of both our Pups with a good chance of competing again in the WUSV is for me very exciting, This year i am hoping to be there in Spain to cheer them on if they get selected for there countries

If it wasn't for all of the pictures and stories about Izzy Bitch, I would never have bought Lina when the mating was repeated. I thank you every day for that, even when I am bandaging my hands LOL :-) I don't regret her for a second.
I too, am a glutton for punishment, as you will find out when you wake up to my latest email.
As ShadyLady said most of the time there is no "perfect" time for a new puppy. You and Philip will do just fine with Gina. I hope she turns out to be everything you are hoping for
Best Wishes!
Stacy
