The problem is those who abuse the abuse button, for every single little thing they do not like. I think mtndawg you are right as Olli just does not have the time to babysit this web.

Because English is not my first language sometimes I feel unsure of what some of you guys post (especially you Steve1 your English, sometimes, is very difficult). You several times said that your pigeon flies to Barcelona (that is from Belgium to Spain?). If I got that right, please explain to me:
1.How did you train her to go to Spain not to France for example or any other country?
2. What motivates her to go all this distance ?
3. How the hell does she know when and that she should come back to her home in Belgium?

Some how there are people on here who are able to delete threads, I thought myself that Oli would never have the time to do it more so because it is only of late that it is being done more consistently than normal, I only saw the thread and looked at the video once I went downstairs to get my brother to show him it but i got delayed by the next door neighbour wanting something So a short time after went back and it was no longer there, I could not believe it If someone has found a way of deleting threads then this site will go downhill fast That is out of order and not right

The Pigeons do not fly from Belgium to Barcelona they are taken in specially air conditioned Transporters and then released in Barcelona to fly back, It is an International race covering 8 countries in Europe A tough race it is
Today i gave the pigeons there first training flight of the season to loosen up there wings about 20kms or 15 miles Just as an athlete trains so do the pigeons when they get loosened up from the winter lay off we increase the distance of private training up to 100 kms or 63 miles then they go into a race with other pigeons say 200 kms 125 miles approx
We then increase the distance weekly
To cut it short for a pigeon to race from Barcelona 1100kms or 700 plus miles i want to get competition race distance overall in the weeks from now to end of June some 800 miles in race preparation for Barcelona, That along with special feeding mostly the last 10 days before leaving the loft to finish off the conditioning
By the way i am an Englishman by birth born of the old Saxon blood with a little Viking blood runs through the Veins

Thanks Steve for the explanation, it looks a more serious and a more difficult hobby.
I know you are English, in your postings you use so many rich vocabularies, I notice that as some would be new to me (every now and then) I have to use google translator, a great tool by wonderful Google.

Please do take the time to read this article and you will understand better. Sock puppetry is used mainly in propaganda wars by activists promoting their own views or those of their clients.
I personally believe, now, that the PedigreeDatabase site has been infiltrated and hacked by animal rights activsts. I have even considered the possibility that Oli does not have control of it, anymore.
If it was anything offensive to an animal rights activist or their POV, I can understand that it was deleted. Just last night I uncovered a nest of "sock puppets".. that is, false / multiple identities on this site, and there is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that they are sock puppet animal rights activists. One goes by the name "Sock Puppet" and another is probably "Bazza", since he / she / it replied to a post of mine almost immediately after an exchange with Sock Puppet...VERY late at night.. So, Bazza is probably a variant of Sock Puppet (SP) or working with SP and other activists in a sort of activist boiler room. Notice that certain people are almost always online, indicating that said persons are paid activists, or otherwise highly motivated by an agenda which can only be speculated upon.
Someone the other nite told me that every time he posted something disagreeable to the AR POV, that the thread was deleted. I have seen the same, since, and very consistently.
