if you have done the DNA, then i dont see why you cant just get the papers from the true parents, if they are AKC, that to me sounds the best , i would think the breeder should not have any problem with this , if she is a good breeder.
she would just have to get papers and sign them and then you could reg , the dog.
thats what i would do.

Ever since then I have wondered if that can be the case with dogs.
Just a little food for thought

Here is the story. It's very disturbing.

With so many breeders out there who DONT do anything, she is trying to make amends. We know your mad but the chance of you winning in court is a tough go. You are going to have to proove that she intentionally frauded you. I would definitily want to know who the real parents are. Maybe you got a better dog. AKC should be able to tell you who the right parent is.
Honestly if a buyer wanted me to reimbuse them for all they have put into a dog, I wouldnt do it. I would do exactly what she is offering. If I paid alot for the dog and I didnt have attachments to her, I would give her back with refund money and new dog (papers in hand). If you think the dog has serious potential to compete and be a great dog, Id still take the money and try and work something out with the breeder AND AKC. Before all this I would ABSOLUTELY GET A SECOND OPINION.
