Contact Mike Diehl.

Erri (Arci) not only has the pedigree and the working ability, temperament and health, he produces it as well.  Key point.

There's some nice SchH/working line dogs mentioned in this thread.  Did you check the OP's site?  They are breeding for larger, long coat dogs with medium to low drives....

I'll second the recommendation for Erri (Mike Diehl's stud), he's an outstanding solid black male, and Mike runs the Indianapolis club where you can see him & Erri in action every weekend.

As far as the Kraftwerk bashing:  I don't believe Wayne studs his males to outside bitches anyway, he doesn't currently have any solid black males listed, and he's all the way in Washington.  So not really applicable to the original poster's request.  I happen to be a very satisfied customer of theirs as well though, so FWIW count my vote against the apparent "tons of people who have had only bad experiences with them."

I would definitely put Mike Diehl on the top of my list with Erri. Impresive dog, and Mike is a great guy. Honest and easy to talk to.
Good Luck
