Whenever scammers ask for my contact information for "rental property" or "please help, I have been kidnapped," etc. I provide them with the contact name and the telephone number for the FBI division who handles such claims.

YES IT IS A SCAM;
It started with an official request from someone from the Hotmail server requesting my husband to reset his password as they said it was hijacked.  He did it and then tried to get back in his account and it was blocked.  Soon all our friends started getting emails that he was in Europe, rolled and needed money to get home.  Thank goodness for our  friends because if his Harley couldn't go, he wouldn't either.

the Attorneys say:  WARNING: ANYONE, BUSINESS, PAYPAL, EMAIL ACCOUNT, BANK AND ETC THAT ASKS FOR YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION ON A COMPUTER, NO MATTER HOW REAL THE GRAPHICS LOOK LIKE YOUR ACCOUNT CAN BE SUBJECT FOR A SCAM.
