I have not found any new rules on the USCA website - I do see the posting on the Sieger show site re that any WUSV clubs members may compete - HOWEVER unless the rule has changed re USCA requireing your to be a member in order to register a dog, anyone who is not a USCA member with a dog 12 mos of age or over cannot show.
Has the rule been changed for mandatory membeship to register your dog with USCA?
In so far as being able to show at a local or regional without USCA registration - showing and getting a show card is what is prerequisite for a Koerung/Breed Survey - where does that leave processing the paperwork for a Koerung or even getting a Koerung? You have to be a member to have a Breed Survey processed at the very least - what is the purpose of getting a show card without being a USCA member if you cannot get Koerung at the same show? Again this is only good if you particpate with puppies which is usually the area of highest cashflow for a show in entry fees.

For me the issue is mainly cost. I belong to the WDA and a WDA club and that's not going to change. So, to enter dogs I'd need to join USA or the GSDCA in order to be a member of a "WUSV" org. Then because it's a Sieger show I'd have to register my dog with USA. Then the entry fee. Then the handler..... just not worth it as a hobbyist with one dog. We can do the WDA show and just pay the entry and handler like normal. I was thinking of just going to watch but I'd like to see the courage tests and they aren't on the weekend.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
"In the meantime, the genuine people who wanted to support both groups, participate in good events, close to home, regardless of who the sponsor was, will have to make, or will have already made, a choice."
This is the position I am in. I really don't care about all the politics. I've shown my dog WDA, USA, UKC, and AKC. It really boils down to costs at this point. There's no longer any reason for me to enter USA events or be a member.

What I have below is section 7 of the WUSV by-laws showing why they will send Judges to judge "WDA" Trials
Section 7
Members
(1) Members can be and shall be all associations
and clubs, which are responsible for German
Shepherd Dogs in their respective countries.
This applies especially to associations and
clubs, which are already recognised by the respective
canine breeding parent authority. The provisions which are in force in the respective
countries as laid down by the Kennel Club responsible
do not stand in the way of acceptance
insofar as these do not contain provisions
in contradiction of the statutes and orders
If you have time I would like for you glance at the WUSV constitution I have posted below and make you own judgement about why this J.A. come about and why "WDA" will continue to exist.

Also in my opinon if the WUSV make it one country one vote which it will in the very near future according to section 7 they will go with the kennel club and being UScA is not this country's Kennel Club GSDCA will win that vote, and guess who represent GSDCA?
