I knew a guy once he had 2 dobermans Cain & Able, when they died he had them both stuffed and they sat one either side of the front door  ( inside of course ) .  Weird !!!!!

 My neighbor has a stuffed bobcat and my husband has an elk head. They do not bother me and so, initially when I read this post, I thought, "Why not"? Then as I attempted to picture any of my pets stuffed, it creeped me out and I started thinking, "What next?" "A kid or spouse"?  Tooo weird for me. I agree with Bob; they need to "return to Mother Earth, like me someday".

I've heard of it done and this is directly from a taxidermist's mouth.  They have a very VERY hard time getting the facial expression and eyes just right.  He didn't like to do it because he could just never get it perfect and the clients are already in such pain.

Hey Davren,

don't worry don't believe it would be legal to have spouse stuffed in states, but there are people who have their spouse's ashes turned into diamonds.
there is a company out there called life gem. they actually do make them from pets too.
