Spray WD40 on it when dry - if you're desperate.

Love the stainless steel bowls, wish I had thought to ask here before spending days removing the stupid stickers from them :-) And when I first bought them, I assumed they were the stickers that peel easy- HA!
~L~ I agree about instructions, and the flower story sucks :-( Pain to have to bring them back....

I have gotten to the point, when checking out I make them OPEN THE PACKAGING, GET THE STICKERS OFF before I pay for it. It is very funny alot of the sticker items go back, they can not get them off, so they keep trying until they find one that came come off. I refuse the fight this battle anymore, If they ruin enough of them getting them off they might get the idea.

You got it before I did, GSDTravels...

It's called Goo Gone, though there are other things, too, such as one I bought at a farm supply store called Goof Off...The reason for that is although butter will take off tree sap (pitch) from hair or skin...When you have a kid that has sat on a tree stump oozing pitch, and covered an entire pair of pants with it, you aren't getting it off with butter or oil anytime soon.

As for stickers in the dishes, I've been lucky.  The stickers in the ones I have bought mostly peeled right off; the ones that did not left a residue that came off after soaking for a day or so.  Petsmart is where you got those dishes?  I'll remember to avoid those!!

Yes, the stickers should be on the bottoms, not in the dish.

I also vote with goo gone.

Sometimes it works easier if the top layer of slick paper is off. Then it easily takes off the under "goo".
