Y.R
You can keep your Snow and you can have ours over here as well not so much the depth of Snow now, But the worse is that it does not clear and it is freezing on top Day and Night.
Walking on the side of the roads is Impossible you cannot stand up it is too icy, No Dog walking all this week again and certainly no Dog Training,
My layoff for 3 months is now coming 4 months except for two training sessions now i have done my Back so again it is out whatever the weather i am not  a good mood of late
Dog water freezing and being changed 8 to 10 times a day and a hell of a North East Wind all this week
Having trained so regular in the past i never thought i would be getting withdrawal symptons by not being able to do it
Roll on Spring but i think it is some way to go yet
Still some have it even more, One good thing it may kill the Bugs and if the hard last Years winter was anything to go by the Farmers here should get another good Apple and Pear crop this year,
However Y.R enjoy it whist it lasts for if you rarely see it then it can be a treat Enjoy it, The Dogs look like they are

Glad your dogs are enjoying the snow,YR. Hope you can save that tree, can you stand it up or cover the roots until you can stake it?  I do love a nice big cedar, lol!

i have a question though since Steve brought up fruit. I have a peach tree and it does fruit but I never get to eat any because of the bugs. I think i should be spraying the trees now with Horticultural oil, and then what? Hoping you could help me out a bit here, OT as it is....!

Beetree
I do not know about peaches, but over here they put a sticky band on the bottom of the Fruit trees  and spray them in season because you get a moth this little devil does not fly but climbs up the trunk and then deposits its eggs as the blossom comes then the larva hatch out and bury inside the fruit and live off it You could try the same stcky band about  15 from the base keep check on it once the fruit sets it should be okay also you you get wasps attacking the fruit if so a spray at the right time would be okay

beetree call your local university ag agent ! They will assist you in all aspects of care for your fruit tree for free! I worked in an apple orchard for several years and sprays are quite pest and disease specific. consult a professional !
