Yea the clean up can't be too good.lol I think I rather have a horse. At least that you can use for the garden.

Man my dog is 6.Can't imagine him dying now.He is still so active....a bit too active!! lol I like Danes too.Just found a stray that was in the middle of the road the other day.I couldn't leave it so I tried to get him in the back of my Tahoe.HA he wouldn't get in.I didn't know him so I didn't push it.I think he was afraid of my dog that was in his cage.SO for the hell of it...I went to my door to see if he would get in.Sure did!!! Right in my seat.So I pushed him to the other side as my friend went to sit in back.WHAT a sight it must have been with a Dane...a big one in the front seat with it's head out the window. So happy I found the owners.I couldn't have had a horse of a dog like that. His head rested nicely on top of my counter.I could just see any food left out disappear!!!

Look at the owner's legs, the pic is staged.  The dog's face is askew in the first and third pic.  He may be the largest dog but those pictures were stage to make him appear even bigger than he is, if he is.

I'm not necessarily a fan of Danes, worked with them in the 80's.  There were a couple that were dear to me, as individuals, but in general it would not be a breed I'd own.  Can't take away the majesty of their sheer size though and this guy is quite impressive.  I still think the pics were enhanced but he's still one big dog.

I trained a few ...found one the other day loose. After having it in my place....I couldn't say that I would own one. The one I trained was a good dog. There were 3 in a family and it was quite fun to have it do a flip heel and jump up and kiss my cheek as it did it. As for the ones i seen at the vet clinic I worked at.They were all freaks and it wasn't just cause it was a the vet.I knew a breeder that had some that weren't right in the head.Beautiful...but just not right.Too big of a dog to NOT have control of!!
