Yep, just a skewed version of the original...So it's not individual computers or users...It's the whole system that's off.

Crys

This pic looks a bit skewed, too....I think it's the whole pic editor.

Stacy,

Is this your new avatar? if so:

Your new image is at the main site but not the cached server locations yet.

Control or right click on your avatar - copy image location.

Open a new browser window or tab and paste the url into the location field.

If it has cdn - change cdn to www and hit enter to get the new image.

Also try clearing your browser cache.

Here's what Oli said.

I cleared out cache and it still hasn't changed for me. Maybe I need to reboot or something. I still see my old avatar and pedigree pictures :-/

Same thing happened to me last week, the old pic went weird/blurry for a few days before the new one replaced it. 4th day I think, the new avatar showed up. Hopefully yours will kick in soon.

It seems that it's taking more than 24 hours for images to be sent to the cached server locations.

And hopefully your browser isn't showing a cached image.

(double cache)

Hopefully Oli is aware of this.

 Heh,

Yeah  I changed the avatar stuff today.   It only points to the cache network if the picture is at least 2 days old.   I will be doing the same to the pedigree pictures.

This way changes should show changes immediately and when the picture finally becomes 2 days old the cache network will update from source.

No it is not working  right...today my old pic was automatically put back   I never touched it...that is the Christmas Pic I removed and put the one up that showed up yesterday

Today I logged on and now the old pic is back on my avitar !

Automatically?  The ghost of the avitar room?
