So, it wouldn't hurt to ask him if he can help, or knows someone from Denmark who could help. Many breeders from Europe advertise and post here.
On second thought: it's often difficult to get Oli to respond to e-mails promptly. I just realized I DO know one Danish kennel which advertises here: Kennel Cutulus, the owners of Bona v. Wolfsheim. Here's their e-mail, for what it's worth. They do have an English version of their website.

No need to attack all posters as if they are not knowledgeable. Dan and Marlyn have been in both schutzhund and AKC german shepherd world for longer than I have worked in the fashion industry .48 yrs.. If you are in this breeding community or on a forum and you give out advice freely and don't know who these people are , and really should not matter as to how you respond.
Assume what you want but Dan and Marlyn surely know how to ask for help, and am sure they will address the info as needed. I just see no need to immediately give the aire of oh no another dumb owner who lost their dog...
That has been the norm here for many months .

Months?.....................no.............................Years!
But those are the minority and they mean nothing.
The majority as I have seen many times are always eager to help out in a situation such as this.
I'm sure everyone who can be of assistance will help out in whatever way they can.
The good out numbers the bad, even now.
No offense taken.

I was only trying to help. Sorry I don't know everybody by name, should have waited for you to fill in all the blanks.
Best wishes to the OP finding their dog.

I have nothing I can offer to help but good luck..so I wouldn't have one thing to gain by wanting to know all the facts for the whole bunch to come with the remarks of insult and blame games, that go on here all the time to posters looking for their dog or wanting help.. it is just common sense that if you don't know Denmark or contacts or know that both of these two people are well versed in years of training, pres of top gsd organization and breeders, don't need to tell all the grewsome facts to those of us that can't help . People in the know will come forth if any are reading in Denmark or Germany.
It is not an attitude , Moons, it is fact that it is tiring to watch hate spewed on here day and night , post after post on every thread put up. Someone starts it and it swells like a volcano. These two people don't need it...We need them to actually join our group and give us some of their expertise but as usual., most top expertise of the Breed leave and never reappear.
just my opinion

Sorry YR,
Smith is a pretty common name and for most people outside the USA dog scene, Dan Smith could be anyone from a Member of Parliament to the local Pikey!
Hope the next post on this thread is to say the dog has been found safely.
