FWIW I guess if I had to end up with a tainted dog product, (wow that doesn't come out so nice does it?), Salmonella would not be so bad as some out there. I have seen where dogs' mouths go when they can get away with it. These are the animals that if they can get away with it will eat poop and dead things. Although that being said I am sure like people some have a more delicate system than others.
