First of all let me say I hope you find the kidney you are looking for. It is awful to watch an animal suffer, and feel so helpless. I will keep you and your pup in my thoughts and prayers.
You will find thru this journey of yours compassion that runs so deep, it will put you in awe. You will also experience the kindest of souls, but for every kind soul that crosses your path there will be 3x as many that will be evil. Just keep in mind that good trumps bad. For those that tell you success in this endeavor is not possible, people wont compromise their animals health for yours which is terminally ill are in my opinion, ignorant, and self centered and have not needed help from other people, nor have they ever given of themselves selfishly with no intent of receiving something in return. These are the people that will try to discourage you, some might tell you you're crazy. Just know in your heart you will find the help you need and there are ALOT of good people in the world, and alot of those people are just as compassionate about an animals life as they are about human life.
I know its hard to keep up hope but you cant give up. Trust there is someone out there who will be able to assist you with your dog.
I wish I could help you, if I had the dog that matched the DNA you are in such need of I would do it in a heartbeat and tell you to keep the $2000.00 and donate it to the GSD rescue center in your area.

Elle, all the threads haven't been updated, but Orso got his kidney and was doing well at last update.
