Good idea for the van! There is a thrift store run by animal resuce people in Shippensburg I have shopped at recently. Maybe they would like it.
Must check the map for that road closure on I-40. I have not been on that road East of Albuquerque, so am unfamiliar with it when it is "normal" let alone under construction.

First things first, however... Need to get to Manassas and do something with Red. Hard to get much done on Christmas week.
I promise I will celebrate the holidays NEXT year. ;-) This year its all about getting *home*.

I had a dream last night- I was "introducing" Bijou to Gary Park on the protection field as Onyx Jr. If I know Gary, he'll like my bangers.

Back to the problems at hand-

What happened to the days when people stood downtown in their little towns, or on the sides of country roads all over the country, and a bus picked them up and took them anywhere they wanted to go?

I might as well wait for a stage coach at the end of the driveway now.

Hey Shelley,
I have to pass Manassas on Saturday on the way to Winchester but I am from Southern Maryland, far away from PA. But if you happen to be in Manassas by then, how about meeting for coffee or lunch or something. Can't stay long though since we have to pick up a horse.

I'd love to meet you down their Chris. Just wish you were passing through HERE on your way south. LOL
I'm going up to Dickensen College today to look at/post on the ride-share board. Maybe there are a few asst. prof's still grading finals or something, leaving late for Christmas with family. Worth a try.

Time to clean kennels now, but right after I have a list of places to try. There is a school in Shippensburg too, and bulletin boards at the local market, feed store...
