I have Allstte and just got my homeownders policy with them.  They did not even blink about my German Shepherd.  They did not even have to come to the house.  I just added it with my auto policy and Bingo I have Home Owner's Insurance.  So, I don't know if they have diferent policies for different sates.  But, in mine in SC, they had no problem.  Try to give them a call.

Never had a problem with State farm and GSDs. I called them years ago before I got my first one. The agent said to have fun with him. And that was that. In this god awful tax ridden, high insurance rate poor excuse for a state, it is the only time insurance surprised me.

I too have Allstate.  My premium is actually lower because of my GSD's.  They are considered a home security system :-)

Actually, it was State Farm with my farm insurance that got me my old Dodge back after the other insurance company took it.
It was awhile but State Farm demanded it returned to me .. lol  Thank you State Farm !!!!

It's now a farm truck, it can't leave my property, but hey !!! The kids love it !!

Soo all in all everything worked out ok. I have no complaints about the whole Dodge ordeal.
I dropped the other insurance company.
