Thanks Bob.
I'm dreaming of a California Christmas, just like the ones I used to know!
Yesterday I started up Ole Red and read her the story of The Little Engine That Could for inspiration while I checked her tire pressures.
I know she heard me, because she spoke back to me from deep down under the hood, but I am not sure I understood what she was saying.
It sounded like ticky-ticky-ticky-ticky-ticky-ticky.

Do they still make good old 90 weight Engine Honey?

Shelley:

Get a quart of Lucas Oil Additive it,s the cats ass for ticky ticky ticky... But knocky knocky knocky from deep under the hood can only be fixed by $$$

What luck! Red just happens to be a quart low. No knocky-knocky yet. Ticky-ticky sounds closer the top of the engine than the bottom, and the rhythm corresponds to the little chalk mark I put on the fan belt as it goes around. Can I get Lucas Oil Additive at the average neighborhood parts store?
I sure hope she has 3K miles in her with the dog trailer tied to her butt. Test run today. (no trailer) Test run with trailer (to car wash and hardware store) tomorrow or Saturday.
I wonder what a small Ryder truck would cost for 3000K miles one way? (Plan B)

Time to get on with "The New Life". :-D
Acute determination has set in! Its either go **on or go crazy. Crazy is a lot closer, but *on* is more attractive!

Shelley:

You should be able to get Lucas Oil Treatment at any parts store. Good luck on your trip and may the great dragon keep you safe.
I hope the wind is always at your back and the sun isn,t in your eyes on your journey.
