That drives me nuts when they give Cephalexin for that,It does not work it is not a big gun antibiotic.Baytril is the big gun but I would certainly get an X-ray and pull a blood profile they can die quick from that type infection.

Im curious as to What can cause a vaginal infection or UTI....urinary tract infection?
No change in food or nothing out of the ordinary
I did try to breed a month or 2 before this occured with no success, she wasnt receptive to the male. Not sure if that triggered?

Being in season is usually the trigger. Most bouts of pyo occur about a month or so after the bitch's heat cycle. The heat makes the uterus vulnerable to infection.
