Why do you 'need' to buy two puppies for your children? How old are your children? It might be best to start with one puppy or dog to begin with. I can't think of a reason why you would 'need' two dogs - here must be some explanation to your logic?. What is your experience with dogs? Is this some somoe sort of fake post or can you enlighten us? My worry is about the dogs, never mind your children.

PS On reflection, I don't even know why I bothered replying to this. Two Moons you're right. It's a daft posting not worth replying to. Best to ignore these.

PSS weiner, this is a forum. Is it not a place to add your two cents worth and let others decide what they make of it?

Absolutely spot on Moons. Even someone experienced in the breed really shouldn't get two pups @ one time. They're not like getting 2 kittens who amuse each other... 2 Pups are 2X the work, 2X the trouble... The only way I'd modify that is if these are older kids who are already involved in breed handling, Jr. Showmanship. Even then it's not the best thing for the pups, as they'll tend to bond to each other more than to their human.

2 puppies are FOUR times the work and trouble. Peter, get a rescue, there are a jillion of them out there (if you are in CA I have a baby you can apply for), grow it out for a year, and see if you still want another one. A German shepherd is NOT for the faint of heart. Many breeders, myself included, require that prospective owners be experienced in the breed. It ain't a picnic, it's damn hard work!
PS. I'd like to take this opportunity to ask Ask Me About My Weiner about his weiner.

Moons is 100% right, before you buy any Puppie for your children spend some time on learning a bit about Dogs in general first and how to house , keep them healthy etc . Then if you are a first time Dog owner do not buy a Shepherd Puppy. something a little less boisterous, For it will be the Puppy to suffer in the end when you and your children find they cannot control it and do not buy them one each even if they were offfered to you free One is enough and the Pup will benifit from it as will your children

Ben pen,
You did not return to explain your post or defend yourself, maybe thats my fault.
My only real concern was the quantity, and possibly your motives.
You could clear that up with a little effort.
Dogs are not Christmas toys, any breed.
Your welcome to return, it won't hurt and maybe you can find what your looking for.
Its just a message board.
Perhaps someone has already sent you an e-mail offering you two puppies, if you get screwed, or you have problems with these two puppies, you can't come back here whining about it, if you won't at least listen to anyones advice.
I'm sorry I wasn't more helpful the first time.
My true concern is for the dogs, they don't have a choice.

Shannan,
Good Call...you're on the money...And a Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
You probably just saved someone from getting ripped off, and just in time for the holidays ;-)

Yup, scam.
VM, I've asked about his wiener previously and he never answered me. Hopefully he answers you, cause I'm curious, just what about his wiener is worth asking about!
