IF one is suspended, one is NO LONGER A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING. If one is NOT a member in good standing, it stands to reason that one cannot judge. Pretty damn simple and straight forward. Yes, you can be a member...a member under suspension, in other words NOT in good standing.

my kid got suspended from school for 3 days, he was still a student of the school

an NBA player can be suspended from the team for a game, but still be part of the team

a kennel can be suspended (on probation) for 2 years and still be a member of the organizing club........

In all of these scenarios, after the punishment, the entity could come back and change their ways.....I have to say that if this is indeed the case, it would be end up being a good thing for everyone concerned.

Yes, but not get credit for the material missed, and not be allowed on campus!
