Heel, because he doesn't want to be left behind.

Pass auf and fuss are my commands.... To utter Pass auf .... you can whisper those sweet words and your dog will jump into action. The words are built into your dog - and I feel safe if I utter the words.
Fuss - when I say that word - the dog snaps out of what ever he/she is doing and comes to my side and looks at me awaiting my next command. Can't go wrong with either of these commands.

NO... meaning whatever you are doing STOP... I've used it to get a dog not to grab something they shouldn't eat, to not get out of the car
(and have saved more than one of my dogs lives with these two ... the 3rd would be "WAIT"... as in they need permission before doing something such as eating, getting into or out of a car, crossing a road, etc)

Come and attack. I can control just about anything with these two commands. Platz would be the third.

OK! I really value playing with my dogs but also building their responsiveness to me and self-control, so I think it's important to have a "release" word or a "yeah, go get it!" kind of word to use in play and training.
