Mystere

by Mystere on 28 October 2009 - 19:10

quote:  " true but at what cost. If i were a breeder showing I would consider it a slap to the face and also an embarassment to have to put my dogs in someone elses name, to show them."

Have you not heard the word and concept known as "SHAMELESS"?    Some peoples' children truly have no shame whatsoever.  They are not embarassed by anything.  As long as they "win,"  they could care less.

What a great example to set for her children

Shameless people don't CARE about the example they set for their children. Hell, they think their children don't notice.

"SHAMELESS"?

Try: arrogant, greedy?

I have my mid-pack (at SS events, at least), 8.5-year-old, V-rated , Ursus son entered in the Veterans Class at NASS. At my own age and with only 2 dogs (both retired) in my household, it's not as if I have a whole kennel full of dogs to enter and to have fun with.

However, recalling Bella II's illustrious and frequent history, it appears that this class has become a showcase for greed and poor sportsmanship--JMHO. My dog's competitors are VA-1 Kevin and VA-1 Urban (probably placing in that order!). Therefore, I will save my time and money for participation in events other than NASS 2009.

I still like when the entries are posted online. Like I have said before, you can really see just how many litters are bred by breeders when they show the names and which classes they are entered in online.
