I think it is going to be a real tough Competition. Many Guys can win it at the moment the 2nd Phase will tell the tale I personally think a Handler will not be able to drop any more than 6 or 7 points total for the three phases, that i think will get a Guy on the Podium,
The Judges were very tight with the scoring as it should be they did a good job yesterday what i saw of it, Two Dogs were disqualified one after the other on the protection phase
Unfortuatly i did not see it happen as i had gone outside to get a coffee and i was talking to Peter Kovaces of the USA team at the time, so excatly what it was i do not know
The only think that i can see which possibly could have been altered was the start time in the mornings, they start around 6.oclock and it is Dark so the lights have to go on it does not get light here until 7.30 - 8oclock in the mornings over here so the Dogs and Handlers will have to be awake very early as will the Judges and be on the ball but the draw is there and unforunate for a few to be picked early
I think Bert Aerts with Arco from Belgium is 6.0clock today or tomorrow, but he is a laid back sought of Guy so he will take it in his stride, but i must check the start times later they are still in the car from last night
I do wonder why it could not go on another day and start say 7.30 on Obed and then Protection but they know best just my own thoughts on it,
I will be back there again very early on Sunday meaning i will have to be on the road before 5.30 in the morning Ronny and Como are on doing protection before 8'oclock on the Sunday morning and i do not want to miss it

Edited
Bert Aerts Did go early this morning 6,0clock first one on the Obed and he scored 90 points that is not at all bad for a Dog and Handler to do the Obed Phase so early in the Morning, A top Comination, so 95 and 90 for two phases

Yes you cannot get better than that, He is the one for those coming up to a later date to beat and he will take some stopping, but all is not lost yet
However it is the overall team performance which is most important and the Whole of the Belgian team has scored from 92 points to 97 points in there first Phase of the Championship that is so me is some top sort of Dog Handling, but again others are there waiting to take over, a great competition and all competitors and dogs get top marks from me which ever country they come from

Yes, a terrific performance cannot get better than that i would love to have seen it tomorrow i go again to Germany for the final day i will see the current leader over two phases working on her final phase which i am looking forewords to and i will see Izzy's Daddy COMO do his final phase as well but i will have to be gone before 5,O'Clock in the morning as he is on early
To date Como has score of 97 and 94 in his two of the three phases so Pup Izzy can be proud of her Daddy i think

thats what it is all about letting others know how things went, I think it rained in Germany today and rain is forecast again tomorrow, Not great but the dogs will be used to it now, I must look to see if there is a stand who is making a video of these event, some one must be doing it for it is a good money making thing. If i find out anything i will post the details on here Monday
