BabyEagle - you a chick?  Not sure how your question is involving a training question - other than your dogs not barking when this man comes around..... sounds like you got a man that has got the wrong impression....  I wouldn't worry about training my dogs at this short notice - time to act quickly - SHOW HIM THE OPEN END OF show him the open end of a shot gun

... I just wonder, if I would give Granduer her command @ the right moment ... you think she would listen to me ? I do.

But the last thing I want this dude to know is her commands, if she didn't listen. Right ?

I dunno, but this isn't good.

not to hijack this thread - but BabyEagle - what command are you going to give your dog?  -worried about this man knowing the command.... that is crazy - my dogs don't really respond to other people giving them a command...

If you got some crazy ass man that is coming around uninvited - you need to do something besides worry about him knowing a command - you need to put the fear of god in him.... sounds like a stalker...

Just concerned.....

My dogs listen to everyones commands when told to do something for the most part. All except bite training. She's only heard me give those commands and I always trained her off property(s). She does really good.

On account of all the children that flow through the property @ any given time with my son and all, I thought this to be the best idea for a my dogs.

He sounds whacko...and he's after you. Ugh. (we need a puking smilie)

If you've made it very clear to him that he isn't welcome, I'd give her the command, but maybe on a long lead, so you can stop her inches from his face.  Not sure about the laws there, but here, if I sicked my dog  on a robber or creep, (on my property)  I'd likely get charged!

Do you have a big strong hubby or friend like Steve1 who can 'convince' him to buzz off?
