Well, if you had a black pug, here's a dandy costume:

I'd run, as I'm deathly afraid of things with more than four legs...and still bite.
He's really, really cute though!

LOL........
So I have some kind of genitic mental defect, I love dogs in costumes.  Dosent matter what breed or how tacky the cosutme, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but with that said I only on the very rare occation indulge in my shameful habit and only in moderation......

Here is a silly exaple of Eriel wearing my head band.... Dead heads watch out here she comes....... LOL
I have always thought of dressing her up at the Little Mermaid.....  Ariel / Eriel ....... duh......
but considering her hardness I don't know if that would float.....

LOL geez I'm on a roll tonight.......

It really works for the doberman, but I don't know what you would do with a GSD tail!

I dressed up my little Dobie, Marley, one year. I was working at a clinic then that had a big enclosed reception area. She stayed up there every day for a week in her little witch costume and acted like she absolutely loved it! Of course, everybody petted and cooed over her a jillion times a day. She would actually push her head into the little hat strap after about the third day.

I don't have any plans for dressing up the GSDs, but if the opportunity and a good costume fell in my lap, I would!

The poodle disguise was a tongue in cheek response to breed specific legislation.  I do wish they had pictures of the Old English Sheepdog and Golden Retriever disguises!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    http://www.dobigang.de/dog_faq/ATT00092.htm
