It never "has anything to do with racism".....unless it's a person of color(esp. a black person) making a comment about some anti social behavior engaged in by someone white....then all of a sudden, we see racism all over the place. Interesting, that! I certainly won't argue that what Kanye West did was /is deplorable....but "typical" ? Me thinks not!

It has to do with rude, obnoxious behavior because someone's "choice " didn't win.  Wah, too bad.  Take it like a man and tell your pick you think they should have won in private.  Look at it as if it were a dog show.  Are you going to run into the ring and start yelling at the judges because the dog that you thought belonged in first place didn't win?  Are you going to interrupt the award ceremony, steal the mic and yell out that someone else's dog is a better dog?  Did you even watch the video?  There is no excuse for behavior like that.  NONE!  Unbelievable!  Tsk Tsk!  I don't care if the people involved were purple with green polka dots.  Rude is RUDE!  Totally unacceptable!  Racist? Puh-leese!  The guy is a jerk, plain and simple.

As I so noted above. Perhaps you have now gotten ahead of yourself? Or perhaps our respective posts just overlapped? In any case,it is certainly not a crutch in the many instances that it applies; however, some people do use it to excess.Nonetheless, it is a fallacy to believe that the opportunity structure is fair and balanced for many well documented historical reasons, many of which, still hold to this day. The fact that some people choose to disbelieve it does not make it invalid. But perhaps this is fodder for another discussion(board)....hint hint...
Thanks for playing!
