I am going to say chow and chow, because of the head, chest and tail set. He is very cute

Almost all of my GSDs have had black spots on their tongues as well as black gums. It's not uncommon.

back when the montrose and heights areas of houston were a not so nice place to live in, dogs very similar to these were very common. owners didn't alter their dogs and didn't keep them confined. the dogs eneded up looking very much like these. the were a mix of mainly labs, chows, and pit bulls...........some were nice, some would rather bit you as to look at you.

Not right off hand. Someone I knew a long time ago had one.
They come in the pictured coat length or a more slick coat............usually the the same lt brown color, with the high tail carrage. The dogs seem to be medium to medium large.
I'll look around for photos.
