Lots of serpentines, right then left. I even lay a track in a huge circle maybe 250 300 paces just a nice big curve. If i,m working corners I,ll lay stair steps for a whole track.

What is stair steps?
Would like to know if you can explain it, thanks.
I think I may not be doing corners correctly also.
I layed the corner more clearly and she had no problem the other day so I am probaly causing confusion.
Since my dog is not ready for the retrieves I am going for a TR1 I believe she will do very well, so wish me luck
this month. I will let you guys know what happens.
I appreciate the help.
I see articles are worth 20 pts.
I am told the TR1 is like the sch1 track. So, this will make me happy as she is not ready to do the sch1. I can not feel so bad, if I choose to do something she is capable of:) :)

It says in one of the first couple of paragraphs each country may decide whether or not to adopt the new rules so I guess it depends on where the original poster is trialing and maybe it also depends on which organization is holding the trial.

thank you for the Link i have taken off a copy and read it, there does not sem to be much change i note the obed section where it says number of steps taken in the sequence
It is suprising how many competitors do not do the correct amount of steps most cutting them short, it amazes me how they can throw points away like that
I also note in many trials i go too during a year is the poor sit postion of many Dogs this year alone i looked and noted it in about 6 trials a lot of Dogs did not sit well some at a 45% angle to the leg, Points thrown away that for me is very important and i look every time the Pup is sitting and if it is not in the right postition i tap is flank with the tipend of the fingers it then moves closer In practise i mean, but not many seem to correct a poor sit postition even in practice
