Finally, working pics of Echo - Page 2

Thanks!  She absolutely loves it!  She goes ape when she sees the target and it's all I can do to hold her.  Man, is she stong!  The trainer seems very pleased with her.  She gives him a run for his money, that's for sure.  She broke the thing twice in two days last weekend.  Luckily they were able to fix it where it could stand up to her. 

Jen, I'm looking forward to your pics!  Won't be any for awhile from me.  My camera is in the shop.  The on/off button quit on me yesterday.  Grrrr!

Wow! She has really grown! Looking great!

Yes, she is getting huge!  She looks adult until you take a close look at that puppy face.  It's pretty obvious in the shot of her running too.  She's really not as fat as she looks in these pics but I'm trying to take a few pounds off of her.  She eats 2 cups of kibble a day total and we work her by letting her fetch her favorite toy over and over, several times a day.  She is just one big solid piece of dog.  Last time we weighed her she was about 71 lbs.  Her mom and dad were big and she favors her mother in build and color.  And no, she doesn't get many treats, in fact I often give her baby carrots instead.  She loves them.  Someone in our club feeds the same to his working line male only he feeds him 5 cups a day and he is trim with a nice tuck.  Echo has no tuck to speak of.

Yes, she takes it very seriously!  I just hope she takes to the rest of it as seriously.  She knows when we pull into the neighborhood of the club and starts vocalizing.  She has a love hate relationship with her pinch collar.  She knows it means we're going to work but she would prefer to leave it home. LOL  She comes to me so I can put it on then ducks her head when I try.  I would have no control over her without it.  The first ten minutes she is an ass but then she settles down and goes to work.  And this is after I have worked her for about 15 minutes on retrieving her favorite ball to take the top off of her.  She's a handful.

The camera goes into the shop today.  If they can't fix it cheap, then I'm going to just go buy another.  I can't live without my camera.  I've missed some really cute shots just this week.  Several club members look forward to me sending them pics of their dogs as well.  I dunno about the carrots.  I'm beginning to think I have a horse instead of a dog, she's getting so big. LOL
