I trust Nick with my dog. Training, boarding, or finding a new home for a dog, Nick takes his time to make sure that it is a good fit for him, for the owner, and more importantly for the dog. Since I've known Nick, he has rescued a German Shepherd from a bad situation. The dog had become very aggressive and needed to find a better home. Instead of just getting rid of the burden of a dog that was hard to take care of; Nick took his time finding the dog the right home and now the dog is doing a lot better. I've never met someone who would rather keep a dog at his own house then sell it to a man who wouldn't have the dog in a good environment.
Nick cares about his clients and their dogs. I Guard isn't just a business for Nick, it is his life. He loves what he does and reading that post about "max" made all of us who know Nick upset because it isn't true.
I recommend Nicks training, breeding and boarding to anyone who needs it. He is great and just read through the testimonials on his web site. They are all true; I know more than half of the dogs that are talked about there. My favorite is the story about Peewee. The pit-bull who was so overcome with stress and needed to 'protect' his owners that he wasn't even able to come in to get his nails cut without trying to bite everyone who worked there. In a few weeks Peewee came back in and was perfect. He wasn't the same dog. Nick is able to help with behavioral issues.

I always figure these sort of posts are set up as a marketing ploy.
They have a nice website, lots of dogs.
Steph was right to ask the question, but I'm not sure if she got the answer she was looking for.
Oh well.

I wasn't able to travel that far to check him out personally and I did hear that he is gone to different states doing seminars so is not home often...anyhow,.
Thanks for all the emails and pm's, good and bad...guess if I can ever drive again, I will just have to go check him out for myself...
Thanks all, Steph
AND THIS WAS NOT A POST TO PROMOTE HIM, JUST FOR INFO...THANKS

remind me who you are. I meet so many people at the NASS. I'm glad you liked Conerz. He is a great dog and just needed to channel his drive in the right direction. Julie Martinez bred a nice dog, I just wish I got a hold of him earlier.
I still miss the warm weather in California, we got 3in of snow :(
Krazy Bout K9's, if you have questions about my OFA or any other information, feel free to contact us. I don't know where you are looking to find that information, but I don't post it anywhere, never have. It is recorded with OFA, but I don't know how you access that information.
