Thanks Steve UbeLand and Bob.  UberLand he is a great dog to have around puppers.  If he gets tired of them he just snarls a little and growls and they go on--no snappiung or biting or running off.  And her aunt Siste has decided she may be worthy of playing with.  LOL.  I think they will play more as Mauli gets older.  I like this girl so much..........no fear--absolutely none.  I haven't found anything she doesn't like.  I am going to have a lot of fun with her......................

I fell in love with her eyes and ears, very pretty color too. There have been so many nice pups this year, all of them are going to be firecrackers.
Always,
Cee

Judging by that expression I would venture to say you will have quite the storm on your hands!  What a gorgeous girl!  Congrats and good luck with her.

By the look in her eyes, that name really suits her.  Congratulations!

Thanks again everyone.  Yes there have been a lot of nice puppies this year ad it's ONLY June. Yes Miss Mauli is quite the girl.  She does very well on her potty training and any accidentsshe has had have been my fault.  She is ball and tug crazy and hangs on hard.  Yesterday I started the riding lawnmower to see her reaction and she was right beside it.  I picked her up and took her for a little ride, stopped and sat her down andshecimbed up on te deck--I rode around the yard with her and she was pleased as all getout.  The only place that is a stumbling block right now is the crate.  She cries and cries and howls.  Not sure which of us gives out first.  I let her t aout every 3 hrs and then it starts all over again.  Any suggestions or just tough it out?

hehehe, you know if even for a second she thinks you blinked first and let her out, it will serve to strengthen her resolve and each time she will howl louder and scream longer!  I think the best thing to do at this point would be to stick her in, then as soon as there is a lul in the storm, reward, quiet praise, walk away again.  Or the "yank the bandaid quick" method, stick her in the crate, get some ear plugs and get a good nights sleep.
