very said. wish i could go and get all the dogs and give them the life they should have. NONE of them should ever be bread! The really sad thing is the people that do buy a pup from them, i sure hope they know what they are REALLY gitting and just want to save them from that life.  maybe someone will shut them down they are a puppy mill. i have seen the sight and i could have gone my whole life not seeing it and be the better for it.

I think I puked in my mouth a little at that website!  It says right on their "about us" page that they needed extra money.  As for the original dog, not my cup of tea.

Lets not be so quick to pass judgement before we know all the details. Maybe they just got this dog. Maybe they just rescued this dog. Perhaps they are trying to make a statement without saying a word. Do we really want to be so critical now. Lets not bash the dog or the owner just because we think we have better in our back yard. Remember everyone thinks their dog is the best. We all have to start at the bottom and climb to the top to better ourselves. Now the Allen story is something else. Just go to the website and they so willingly give all the details needed to be judgemental.

I don't like to make fun of people's dogs but my first impression was definitely "Oh, my!" (sanitized). She is very thin but she also looks young. My male when he was between one and two years old could easily out-eat  and out-crap my adult male by 2 X and was as skinny as a rail. I was concerned about him. He has always been ver high-energy. He did not have parasites or any health problems as he got regular vet visits. But when he got above two years, he filled out quite nicely and has stayed at about 85 pounds looking trim. (He's about 26.5 inches at the shoulder.) Personally, I would rather have people tell me I need to eat more than say I am not feeding my dogs enough. That's just sad.

Wow is all I have to say on that website.  I agree, that the dog in the original link is young and maybe her first time stacking.

That picture in the ad classifieds is just wrong!

Yes, I think two way different things - one is an ad the other [thje first post in the thread] is just a dog that is still a puppy.

Actually there was another thread going "this gives me the chills" or something like that about the hair guy with the man boobs and the keg instead of a 6 pack.

On the Allen kennel...Anyone visit the page "AHGS Females"?  There they have pics of three litter sisters that they plan to breed, and if you look at them, I'm pretty sure that all three pics are of the same dog.  Same color collar, same markings, identical dogs.  I won't comment on them otherwise, except to say, "RUN!!"

On the pup that was the subject of the first post, she looks young to me, and perhaps not all that well muscled due to youth, and the pasterns are awful straight. too.

Crys,
You are absolutely right!  All three females are the same dog!  Definately run.  Scammers & a puppy mill!  I hope people really do their homework if they want a GSD from them!

I say BULL on the dog being young and that is why she is thin! My dog is 1yr and a few days old and here is a pic of him. He is not thin at all! Yes, he needs to become more muscular and fill out due to being young but he is not thin! He has good muscle tone for his age. That poor dog has NO muscle due to starving! Those people make me sick! AND they are selling the poor dog for $1200! Are you kidding me! ugh

4pack

She is not STARVING, I don't see a single rib. More like severly lacking excersize. She looks like she is kenneled in a small area or crated alot, so she can't build her back end. She has a nicer chest for such a slight dog but really people, she is young, female and showline bred. I see alot of showlines unable to build a nice rear end, even with a specific excersize routine, sand/hills/water. It's crappy genetics. For instance, no matter how much weight I put on or how hard I work out my legs, I cannot build calves. Geneticly, I have skinny chicken legs and no amount of anything can/will change that fact.

I wont comment on the website, I didn't look at it but 160lb dogs? LOL I was just laughing at a guy at the DMV talking about a 250lb Akita he had and a 300lb King Pit Bull with a head bigger than a basketball. Sometimes you just have to walk away shaking your head and laughing. I giggled when I heard Dobbies learn faster in German because it's their native language too.
