Na, I call them memory makers, you think back and smile and giggle. High drive are just busy beavers and if you do not find things for them to do they will entertain themselves and then they become a SH.

Shithead with high drives is the best kind of dog to me.

I have 3 high drive dogs, they all are great dogs but to me, a shithead is a dog that has a twisted evil sense of humor (ok, not really evil or twisted, but then again, you guys have never met Loki
). Loki was only 5 months old when he had taken my hubby's underwear from the clean clothes pile, chirped at him to get his attention, when my hubby went out to look at Loki, Loki stood over the water bowl holding the underwear over the dish. When hubby ran down to "save" them (this was after a couple of time of my hubby going down a couple stairs and Loki lowering the underwear, hubby backing up the stairs and Loki lifting his head back up), Loki not only dropped the underwear in the bowl, but put his front foot on the underwear in the bowl and looked at hubby who was now at the bottom of the stairs. Now that is a Shithead dog!!!!!! LOL
P.S. Things have only gotten more creative on Loki's end. My trainers call him Psycho Einstein..... Too smart for normal humans...............

MindHunt, Loki sounded like Astra. She knew that if she hid all of the shoes no one could leave the house.
They make you laugh.
Always,
Cee

My Zorba was a high drive shithead too, he flipped me off regularly and with impunity, both on the field and off. He used to steal my DH's socks, right when Peter was trying to put them on in the morning. He would wait silently, & out of sight, he would watch and if the opportunity presented itself Zorba sprang on him like a lion, grabbed the sock at the toe or anywhere he could, yanked it off & then ran around like a maniac, (you know the way they do when they are laughing at us) keeping just out of Peter's reach. Peter sometimes would get mad, but neve at Zorba, Peter knew it was always his own fault for forgetting the game - because Zorba NEVER EVER forgot! Even when he was old and gray and stiff, he would still manage to get a sock now and again. All I could ever do was laugh. I sure miss that crazy old shithead! Luckily for me, my current young dog is a crazy ass shithead too, cuz that's the way I likes'em.
