Two Moons

I have to copy albums to cd, vhs to cd, and then in a couple of years copy all that to the next marvel storage device...
Makes me all fuzzy and numb.
LOL

And now.... just to change the subject, this digital TV crap is starting to piss me off..
Its weak and fragile and if you live out in the sticks its gonna be a nightmare.!!
Another bright idea we were not told everything about.

LOL....
I still have one of those too...  but sadly only a couple of tapes have survived.
Same way with cassettes, I was thinking Yard Sale !!

They SOUND BETTER!!!!    Try listening to a CD of Jethro Tull. then put on the album and listen to it.    WORLDS of difference.  I have played a few albums for youngsters raised in CDs and they always say, "Wow, that sounds GREAT! Why doesn't ours sound like that?"

This digital TV crap is going to affect me too.  Right now I get 2 stations (local) but unless I get a converter or pay big bucks to get a dish, I will not have any t.v. at all.   Bastards.  Our local stations are in trouble too of becoming extinct.  They are actually crying out for help.  Who said change was good?

I just noticed that Diana Krall, Fly me to the moon was hit 1,999 times in less than 24 hours.
She's not my favorite but I do like her piano.
And she did a song for Clint Eastwood in one of his movies called Why should I care which I like.

The main thing they left out about going digital is that the signals will be weaker.
I have a very high antenna and a booster and still a car going by or an airplane will scramble the signal..
Not to mention when I need it the most during a storm it goes out completely.
At least with analog you could see and hear through the fuzz, with digital it turns checker board then goes out completely.
We got screwed yet one more time because why????   Homeland security needed more band width.
I refuse to go to a dish.    Thats why I watch so many movies, TV has gone to hell.    But I'd still like to have access.

Analog has more depth & brightness to it, sure you can also hear the static, which digital gets rid of....but in removing the ambient noise you also lose the layers of sound that make analog so 'real' sounding. I think digital SUCKS!  And yes I use it like everyone else, but I hate that it's being crammed down our throats by those who can't tell the difference! Just like dog laws, & reform in medicine.....PLEASE! Let someone who actually has some knowledge of the issues decide our fates.....but no, just a bunch of politicians! Pooh!

And I like that song! I used to sing it to Carl after we.....uh.....never mind! jh
