Just ask Northern California where all of our water goes? Or you can just follow the aquaduct down to LA.
All of this stupid building where the land can't sustain us drives me crazy and then every summer it burns down around them and that is all we hear on the news for months. Retards! Lemme build a million $ home in a dry canyon and then steel my water from up north, where they need it to grow our crops. Who needs food, I just want a green backyard in the dessert.

I have to admit GWB was a huge disappointment to a life-long Rebulican like me, but I think Obama is a fraud and half of his cabinet are unqualified for their positions. Where did he FIND some of those wannabees? Who REALLY made those decisions? If the current administration can even start to turn things around I'll be the first to applaud, right after I pick myself up off the floor from fainting in shock and amazemant.
God Bless (and save) America... from ourselves.
'Nuff said from me.

In Colorado we can let a horse drink out a stream, but we cannot dip a bucket into that same stream and give it a horse. Even if the stream runs through our property. Its also against the law to collect rain water, or impede the flow of water in any way.
1972 - new subdivision - each parcel must be over 35 acres to be allowed to have a water well. Any properties less then 35 acres will have have a centralized water system to use a cistern.
2008 - In the valley where we have property, a city purchased a ranch for the water rights. They plan on piping the water to a city many miles away.
2009 - well permit went from less then ?100 to over ?600.
2009 - Water board claimed the valley's water is over used and will not give out permits to a large area. People purchased their property years ago intending to retire, and now they are not allowed any water........Their property's value is greatly depreciated........
