Wuzzup, YR and the rest that have to say good-bye,
We all know  it's never easy.  But time really does heal.
Remember the good things...the best about them...even the worst about them will still make you laugh.
Prayers are with you all.

You probably have all seen this.  Makes me cry but at the same time gives me comfort & hope.

I will lend to you for a while, a pup, God said.
For you to love him while he lives and mourn for him when he's dead.
Maybe for twelve or fourteen years, or maybe two or three,
But will you, 'till I call him back , take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and (should his stay be brief)

You'll always have his memories as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise he will stay since all from earth return,
Burt there are lessons taught below I want this pup to learn.
I've looked the whole world over in search of teachers true,
And from the folk that crowd life's land, I have chosen you.
Now will you give him all your love nor think the labor vain,
Nor hate me when I come to take my pup back again?

I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear LOrd, The Will be Done,"
For all the joys this pup will bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness; we'll love him while we may,
And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay.
Bue shoud you call him back, much sooner than we've planned,
We'll brave the bitter grief that comes, and try to understand.

If, by our love, we've managed your wishes to achieve,
when our faithful bundle departs this world of strife,
We'll have yet another pup, and love him all his life!

How could it be precisely the right moment for three different dogs?

I don't understand.  Did they all have the same terminal illness with precisely the same course?

How many people die of cancer every day?  Or Diabetes or whatever other illness plagues us.
There are who knows how many 80 yr old people that are ready to go at any given moment.
Think of the ratios.

YR, NO!!  Which ones and why?  I kind of knew Dieter's time was nearing but two others??  I'm so sorry and am afraid to know which.  I came to know them and can't imagine what you're going through!  Wish I were there to comfort you.  Hugs, say my goodbyes, please and know my thoughts are with you.  Sad day all around.

Wazzup, I'm sorry for you also, I know how hard it is.  I had a Yorkie (pain in the butt all of her 14 years, but still loved) who was up and down.  I scheduled the appointment and when the time came she perked up.  A week later, I knew it was time, so rescheduled.  The day came and she perked up again.  I took her and told my vet she had a good day.  She told me there wouldn't be any more and to think that I gave her the gift of one last good day.  My thoughts are with you also.  So sorry.

I am sorry for you Yellow  Rose .I dont think I could live through the heartache of three in one day . Then again I don't think I could live through the heartache of speading it out . Either way it hurts . GSDTravels I also have a 14 year old yorky . She has been a pain in my butt all these years . She still is very healthy .I hope she stays that way .I can not imagine losing her to right now . I have a new neihbor he has two border collies . We live on a main road lots of traffic . He lets one run loose unattended I am hoping I don't have to pick his dog up out of the road and tell him he got ran over . I do not do well with these kinds of things .
