Mystere, sometimes we give it the full name, but pronounce it "Woostershire sauce." Close to your version, but not identical. 

I'd be interested in hearing someone from England pronounce it. No doubt the proper pronounciation gets a bit mangled by us lesser beings 'across the pond'!

Yeah, it's "wooster sauce" here... of course I'm a Scot, but a Brit none the less!  You're right, we have lots of odd words and pronunciations.

Remember... pants are knickers and a purse is a ladies wallet, anything bigger, is a handbag LOL.
