Sorry, I didn't realize it was a pup from your OP.  My mistake I didn't realize the dog was only 4 months.

Sam, thats a good idea.  Thats similar to what I taught my Husky pup...he's just one day younger than Anubis.  He knows it as "let go"

He may be just 4 mo but he can be corrected.  Sometimes you have to lay them down and dominate them so they understand that something is off limits unless YOU say he can go after it.  Trust me, as hard a dog as Anubus appears to be this is not going to mess with his head.  My 7mo girl is very hard and challenging me every other minute.  She is due for another "lesson".  Listening to you describe what you are going through with your pup reminds me of what we have already gone through.  We do as much positive reinforcement as we can but somethimes you just have to let them know who the alpha is.  If you don't firmly enforce that now just wait until he is 7mo and going through this stage.  Echo hates to be told no, drop it or leave it.  She understands all and in the past has done well but just this last week or so I am seeing rebellion in her eyes and the wheels are turning.  I love her hardness but she is wearing me out with her bad girl stunts.  It would be easier if she was stupid but she is very sharp and keeps me on my toes.  Good luck with your boy!
