Re the "boys and breasts" - soy based baby formula is also blamed in this. Soy has lots of natural phytoestrogen. There have even been studies linking soy based formulas to homosexuality.

Have your water chaser and toss it over your shoulder!

Actually,
I stopped drinking water for the most part, grew up with a spring fed well and have never been able to drink city water.
I really don't drink a lot of alcohol either, mainly if I go out to a club or maybe a beer on the river in summer.
Soft drinks are a sad substitute but thats been my mainstay for most of my life. Nothings really good for you.
Bottled water isn't any better than what comes out of my tap, and its overpriced.
Not a lot of choices .

People do not realize what a precious commodity our water is. Back in the day (15th century and earlier), people did not drink water at all, most was contaminated with sewerage as there was no control over it. To drink water was to risk death, people and kids drank near beer or fermented grape juice as the alcohol killed all the nasty bactera, did not remove floaters, but it removed the bugs.
My slogan on this whole thing is that if a species does not learn to live with its own waste the species is doomed. We not only cannot live with our waste, we make it a point to create more and more and contaminate our environment futher and call it athetics. Think of all the crap people put on the grass to make it green and weed free, insecticides to remove bugs used proactively not as a control, not to mention the over use of anti-biotics and hormones that are causing issues with our kids heath.
We got the lead out of the air and human blood shows less contanimation compared to those of us around with the leaded gas, but we replaced it with worse in the food and water.
Granted, the species has mechanisms to combat the onslaught, the fittest and best genes will repair themselves and the day to day damage of the chemical onslaught. Not a very humane thought...................

My Aunt lives out in the boonies and her well water is soooooo good. Icy cold straight from the tap, too. I'm not much of a water drinker either, but I always tank up and fill a couple gallon jugs to take home when I visit her.
