Until you have walked in someone's shoes or followed their path against all odds you cannot make judgments. Unless you have never been stalked by someone you cannot understand stalking.  Stalkers and those who harass are usually the worst of the cowards as well as the playground bullies. They hide in perceived anonymity behind keyboards and in the shadows.

They strike out at their targets without remorse for the havoc they cause.  The more pain they cause - the more pleasure they feel. 

Its not about how you feel about or perceive yourself – its day to day tragedy that sometimes never ends.  You can’t ignore it and it doesn’t just “go away”. 

Yup, people with real power don't need to bully.  Bullies are, by their nature, insecure and weak.  They only way they feel powerful is by making someone feel weaker than them.   Unfortunately, as with most conflictual relationships, there are two victims.  While there needs to be protecton for the weaker victim - the "cure", or ultimate remedy can only be found in healing both.   

Stormhasit is entirely correct.  It is not normal behaviour to be a bully , but even the strongest teen or adult can become the victim.   Our feelings get in the way, like I posted one day to a lady,,use your brain not your HEART. 

 I was told by a very well known WUSA WInner and competitor and Top trainer in our USA, last night, that if you allow the abuse and do not hang up. turn off the computor, or refuse to continue in the kind of language or cruel treatment of a stalker, or a phone companion, it is entirely your FAULT.

There is absolutely no possilbe gain for you if you continue in it, but the gain is for the abuser.  Building strong character in a dog is just like building it in a child, or an adult.  

  Since there is something wrong with our site here I cannot hit enter now and make a new paragraph..So I am hanging this thread up.                     When I hit enter it takes me up to the top of this page......we have a problem here!!!!!!!!!

I hear where you are coming from...just because someone doesn't say they were a victim doesn't mean they haven't walked in those shoes.  That which does not kill you will make you stronger.  What you say is true about the cowardly bullies...it can be amazing and liberating to find one has the backbone to stand up and take steps to defend oneself, both mentally and physically if necessary.  Been there, done that.  I fear no one behind a shadowy key board, they are but ghosts in the machine.  I have but to walk away.

MOONS you have become Jaded ...... And yes somtimes It is SSDD,, only the names change . I think you know more about whats going on here then you let on .......I could give you a reference date if you would like .As you were on line one night when some really strange posting were going on and deleted . As for the people who want cyber bullying to stop and the threats and harassment that go hand and hand with it , I am going forward to try to make a difference . Im not talking about the little disagreements we all have here and there with life . Im not talking about squashing free speech . Im talking  about things that torture mentally and emotionally people and families .Thing done with malious and evil intent ..
