Two Moons

I agree,
Whats the point ?

The longer Oli remains silent , the more I wonder who's in control.

I owe nothing to Google or Dog Time.com

Thats not why I came here in the first place.

The site is no longer the same,  I hope they all go broke.

Moderator can join the ranks of the unemployed.

I come here less and less with each passing day.

Nothing of substance to discuss any longer.

It would only be deleted.

Whats the point?

I noticed an influx of newbies a couple months or so ago. I wondered to myself..."what stupid pet site is advertising the PDB?" They must have it advertised somewhere for the amount of new hits and we aren't talking about folks so interested in GSD's, they researched and found their way here alone. I doubt some of these fools, even ever owned a dog but if you ask them, they are the new expert in town on the subject. All touchy feely about who is nice or not, not worrying about where the "real" information is coming from.

It is pointless to post, to put your time into answers that may just be "poofed" away, at the drop of a hat. The quality is gone here and it has turned into something else, something meaningless, with no depth.

Why not start some content of concern?

If you post it, they will come.

Not really Don. Those posts get grossly ignored for the picture posts and whatever else doesn't involve training. By the way, nice to see you around. Still have that little black male?

Check out the hits on all the threads on the front page right now. 52 hits is the most all the way down to 0's on a few. What got 52? Sieger Barbie! No more 100 plus posts on good threads.

4-pack,

That 52 is just responses, including several "bumps."  Yes, that thread has a lot of views, but so does the discussion of the SV  methods to root out cheating, with 900+ views and 43 responses.   The thread about coloring dogs at the Sieger Show had over 2,000 views and 77 responses.

The fact is that the "non-threatening" pet-type threads, like those about dog food, about poultry bones, or pandas, get the most responses.  That may be because it involves the least amount of ego (meaning that some of the frail egos are trod by someone disagreeing with them), attracts fewer crazies, is  least susceptible to being hijacked into uglyism, and where a newbie can pontificate with impunity.

Oh I don't mind the Sieger Barbie thread, it was hoot and for a good cause.  I'm aware of "why" the serious threads don't get posts. That is what sickens me.

That's what sickens us all.

And that my friends are why posting is down.

The Don, nice to "see" you respond.
