OT: I need to build a chicken coop.... HELP!!!

only 2 silkies? but a large rabit cage and put the chickens in it. make a ramp out of a piece of 2x8 and a few 1/2 rounds. you will end up spending much, much less then trying to build one from scratch.

go to a larger feed store or Tractor Supply Company. They will have what you need.

I am going to get a white one and a blue one.... and maybe for me, I'll get a black one...
They are going to be Easter presents for my two daughters, it's going to be great, I got all the materials today, and put the base together. I willtake pictures when it is all done.

You will only need a single story for Silkies.

shoot.... will it be bad to make a 2 story? I was going to make an "A" frame, but saw this, and I really liked it.

You can make it a two story but Silkies don't really fly like other types of banties and chickens. Make them a ramp to the second story.

If I wasn't downsizing my birds I would probably get a few Silkies. I always liked them.

OK, Here they are!!!! We welcomed home our new babies today!!! 1 blue Silkie, 1 White Frizzle/Silkie, and 1 Black Frizzle/Silkie. Hope they are all girls!!!

Coop will be finnished next weekend.
Anyone wanna help name them?
