I'm not really one to take pics of cars, but I put mine on ebay so I had those handy. Older is better, but you don't worry so much when you get a rock chip on a newer one as you do on an older, all original one. I bought my Z06 to drive to go see my horses, and it does have a chip or two from those country roads. Such is life; it's a new car. If that happened to my Dad's, I'd vomit.
I took my DL test in a 72 Cutlass convertible. My parents had so many cars I couldn't buy my own b/c there was nowhere to put it!

http://www.solidaxle.org/events/special_collection-05.htm The GD picture won't show up. Argh!
You'll have to zoom in to the pic/blurb at the top of the first link. My grandma owns that car. It's a gold 1958 Corvette. One of a kind. We had it at Bloomington Gold a few years ago. My mom went through a ton of work to document and prove that it was THE car, not an imposter. Finally, she found a trick to prove the car was originally painted gold...and there was no further argument. Hard to put a value on a one of a kind Corvette. They asked her to put it in their Special Collection, which is the second link. Phyllis is my mom.

My son is jealous of that, he feels cheated in some way..LOL
Between me and the boys we've had as many as thirteen vehicles here at one time. Parking without blocking someone in has always been a problem..LOL A couple still sit in a field waiting for some attention or the scrap pile.
I remember the Drive In movies and the roomie back seats of the Cutlass, steamed up windows....LOL
Why couldn't they have kept the old Drive In theaters? Kids have nowhere to go these days.

The pics didn't load for me, either. Sorry. It's a beautiful car; not my first choice in body style, but a beautiful car.
I was good in high school. I never steamed up the windows of any of our Cutlasses. I did, however, put the top down on the convertible and have about 8 people in it one day after school. I somehow managed not to get pulled over. Without a roof, those things fit a ton of people! LOL.
Breaking news...a hot lead on my Z06...for full price! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Ok, crossing them now...lol
My first car was a Dodge Pioneer, a 58 I believe, cost me $25.00 in 69. Had fins on the back fenders..drove the hell out of that car, finally wrecked it.
THAT was an ugly car.
The only cars I ever had with the top down were sports cars, lota fun, and the girls loved them. An MG midget and two Triumph TR3's.

Dodge Pioneers WERE ugly. But what do you want for $25?

He is amazing and should be a model! I am not as big into cars as you all; I love Pick Up trucks and my quarter horses!
Oh and my one appaloosa....besides my dogs, of course.
Jenni, what kind of horse captured you?

by Jenni78 on 31 March 2009 - 22:03
A Friesian stud colt. He's out of this horse (Teade 392, FPS approved stallion):

and this is his dam (Aranka):

Hard to believe he'll look like them someday. This is him last month w/his fuzzy winter coat. He will turn one on June 24.
