A Cobra can eat three Vets a day without slowing down.
The real snake,
I dunno, win lose or draw I'd rather have mine in Red.

Do not ask questions you are not ready to hear honest answers for. Especially from some of the more honest, helpful, mentoring dog people around here.

When putting matching tires on both cars the corvette will out handle and striaght line excelleration of the cobra because of the shorter wheel base of the cobra and more torque of body and chassis of the cobra it can not transfer power to the ground to support the lighter car chassis shorter car stiffer frame = less enegry transfered to the ground to increase excelleration which = cobra blows chow

TM.....now the Cobra is strong....and it hangs with the ZO6....but run circles around it...not on your life...the ZO6 kills it. Kinda like trying to compare Showlines and Working Lines...they both have their place...and each excels in certain areas...but circles...not even close.......
ZO6 Vette Sorry for the size...darn thing is hard to upload pic's too....oh well....much more fun then fighting about Shiloh's and GSD's...LOL Faster Too!!!

Actually, wuzzup, I believe that WAS a request for people to be polite, and it had me LMAO, because it's so true of the sort of response some people on this board might make!
Wuzzup has it right. Tina split with the AKC in the early 90's, and since then no true Shiloh Shepherd can have AKC papers, although all Shilohs prior to that time WERE AKC registered GSD's, bred under the Shiloh Kennel name. My bitch has the old Shiloh lines in her pedigree, about 6 or 7 generations back. (I didn't know it at the time I bought her, though.)
HOWEVER, some of the breeders who split with Tina are breeding Shilohs to AKC registered GSD's and claiming they are purebred Shiloh Shepherds. They are also showing these mutts in ARBA shows, which is COMPLETELY AGAINST THE RULES!!
Yes, I'm mad about that, and other GSD owners should be, too!
As for SAR ability, google the name 'Gandalf'. He's a full blooded Shiloh, who rescued a Boy Scout a couple of years ago. I believe it was the very first time he'd been called out on a real search, too.
This dog here, KariAnn of Marquest http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/526097.html was an extremely talented SAR dog, and one of the most intelligent dogs Tina ever owned. In 1977, a 7 months pregnant Tina was using her to search for a little girl who'd been lost in the Adirondacks. Kari wanted to go up a steep hill, and Tina couldn't manage it, due to her very pregnant conditon. She turned Kari over to the team leader, Don, and Kari led him right to the missing girl.
And no, not EVERY dog has the ability to do SAR, as anyone who's trained for SAR will tell you!
KariAnn was bred to Shiloh Emmview's Grey Express (Shep) who was responsible for saving Tina's daughter's life, when she stopped breathing as an infant. She would have been another crib death statistic if Shep hadn't jumped on Tina's bed, to wake her up.
Just a couple of the reasons I like these dogs...
I know there's a lot of negative stuff out there about Tina, but no one has ever given me solid proof that it's true, beyond a couple of reports to the BBB. Her kennel's been in business for something like 40 years, and there's sure to have been a few disappointed customers during all that time.
I"ve met the lady in person, I've met many of her breeders and friends, and they all seem to be good people. Fred Lanting judged the Shioh Homecoming last year, and it would be hard to find anyone more knowledgeable about the GSD than Fred. Yet, he's friends with Tina, and a fan of the Shiloh.
No, I'm not about to 'drink the koolaid' as some people have said. I like to make up my own mind about things. Some people think the current GSD is the greatest dog on the planet. Hey, I've owned four of them in my lifetime, so I'm not exactly neutral on the issue, either. But, I see how the breed has changed in the last 40 years, and I see a LOT of stuff I don't like. And I speak out about it, too, which annoys those of you who think the breed is perfect.
Am I running it down to elevate the Shiloh?? HELL NO!
I don't think the Shiloh is perfect, either. But it's Tina's vision, and I respect her for what she's done. She liked the style of German Shepherd that was around during the 60's. So do I. I'd love nothing better than to be able to have a kennel full of Bodo von Lierberg's offspring. I understand EXACTLY why Tina did what she did. These
