For me crate and Kennel works, it's easier and benefits both me and my dog. I found that it improves not just bond with my dog but at the time her health. If you can Kennel your dog, or simply rotate, you both will beneffit in the long run. One thing that's wrong is taking yoru dog out only for training, that will not benefit the dog or you. Good luck ;)

If you break down the time in a day or week  it takes to train  a dog too a higher level,  to whatever you sport is, think about it, thats alot of time spent outside of a kennel, if thats where your dog lives, last winter it got down to around 0 degrees, so I thought I would bring the big guy in too lay by the fireplace, he was misreable, took him out to break him, and he ran back to his kennel, and was like"shut my gate, I am going to sleep".  Although getting them out just to be a dog is ok too.
