PCS is a lousy excuse to sell a dog.
You knew the deal when you enlisted, and when you bought the dog.
Please don't get any more dogs until AFTER your ETS.

Exactly my point, Alyssa.
What about wifey? She can't take care of the dog? I don't understand any of it.
Some good pictures of THE DOG would probably help the poor thing get a FOREVER home. You know, instead of some giant red-eyed face in front of what appears to be a black puppy.
Sorry I don't find you so attractive as to not be critical of the bad situation the poor pup is now in, Smartguy. I don't think it was very smart to get a dog knowing this shit can happen at the drop of a hat, if your wife is not prepared to care for it in your absence.
I am a dog advocate, not a reasonably un-hideous looking guy advocate. If you were being rehomed, then fine, try to look cute to increase your odds. But you are not the one tossed out of your home; the puppy is.

Unfortunately for you, someone found your ad amusing and called a lot of attention to it, so you are under scrutiny for something that tons of people do all the time.
Why can't your wife take care of her if she's not going to Japan? And am I misunderstanding, or is it that you MIGHT go to Japan...and you MIGHT go to NC? Like I said, it's unfortunate for you that attention got called to YOUR particular situation and got people thinking...but they are valid questions. Seems like every time you turn around someone needs to find a home for a pup or dog b/c life happened...
I loved the "free to good home" thread. That was perfect.

WOW! I can believe what I'm reading here. It's full of crap that needs some bleaching up.
Listen guys..... Smartguy can do whatever he wants with his dogs and theirs not a damn thing that neither of you guys can do about it. Has it ever occur you that maybe, just maybe the black dog is too much dog for Smartguy's wife to handle while hes gone for military reasonings?? Did you guys actually read the entire advertisement that Smartguy published? He mentioned on his adv. “She is not for a new handler and needs to go to someone with experience.” Maybe his wife doesn't know how to handle a high drive dog.
If I was in Smartguys position I would do the same. I would would want someone with handling and training knowledge (other then my spouse who doesn't know anything about dog training) to work the dog and to keep her happy.
Jenni78, you are so disrespectful. Were you born in 78? If so then you need to start acting your age and not some pimpled faced punk teenager who have no manners.
