Kathy: on the other thread about this same video, someone mentioned that from seeing the 1st heavily edited video there is a good chance they wouldn't have recognized this as a seizure because many dogs do "chase rabbits" in their sleep. I agree wholeheartedly and I do not think you should feel bad about thinking that heavily edited video was just an example of vivid dreaming. The DIFFERENCE is when you saw the full unedited video you recognized this for what it is. So please, don't feel bad.

Yeah, I chuckled at first too then it just go too bizzare and didn't "feel" right or funny anymore. Sue did you notice your comment is not there? Mine either.

Yes I did and on one of the videos I went ahead and added another comment.  They can delete them all they want, I will keep posting them.  I would like to think  if more of us continue to post on those servers hosting the videos about what is really going on maybe the hosts will remove the videos.

She just keep taking them right back down Sue. I already posted twice ths morning. Even a link to epilepsy and the signs/symptoms. People like this keep PETA going. Dog suffers for owners stupidity.

I thought the first video was funny too - dog dreaming "violently" - but I agree the second video demonstrates the true reason - seizure - very sad.  The owner has the right to believe what she wants (that the dog is dreaming) - but eventually she will find out "the hard way" when the seizures continue to escalate and eventually the dog will not recover, or personality will change drastically (brain damage) or the dog will continually seize and the problem will then be more than obvious.  Very sad for the dog though, whose owner won't listen to advice given.

Yes, the second video shows what is going on.  In the first, it was a bit hard to tell, since the real post seizure behavior was not shown.

And of course now, not so humorous after seeing the second video.   Which means that this is happening often enough to do so.....

Jeff, did you read the rest of the thread.  Some of us thought that the original edited video was "funny" until seeing the second video.

I at first, thought some intense dreaming until seeing the second video which clearly shows what is really happening.

I understand why he over reacted, though. The video turns my stomach. I can't believe outfits like Yahoo are blasting it all over their home pages. Really upsetting.

And the news stations....my husband first showed it to me off of comcast.net
