My 3 chosen people;

1; David Payne,  well we all know David,   2; Philip Prince, yes he is my other half but if you have a conservasion with him about the GSD then you will know he is VERY  VERY good for the breed;      3; Ryan Rambridge, as he is very knowledgable also, and speaks very good sense aswell.  I would say myself but my wording of how I see things is not the best and I tell the truth and then that is always not the best way!!

These are my 3 chosen people as you always mention the 'same as same as'  people, no offense but most are northerners, its like you all stick together, north V south.  As I say, I tell the truth.

Regards in Honesty,

Kerry Ayling

Mo,  self proliferation is not my bag, but i will be delighted to put your name forward ( if you are willing ).

Regards. Paul.

By the way Mo, i forgot to thank you for your confidence in me, thank you.

Once again regards Paul.

Why not Sheila Rankin? She will be at Crufts on the Breed Council stand and as the Secretary of the Breed Council she usually gets all the tricky questions to answer.  This way it hopefully will get ratification from the Breed Council p.d.q
This if Sheila will do it.

This way we up the grim North won't have to worry about being understood!!!

Videx

I should make it very clear that I would NOT want, nor indeed would I accept any position, even in the very unlikely event that I was elected/selected by the GSD Breed Council.  I value my independence and my considerable freedom, although not total freedom, from collective responsibility. I choose to serve our breed in my own way, and I have some considerable work to do, with my wife, to prepare many dogs for the Show rings. You will all soon, hopefully, have the pleasure of seeing some very promising youngsters from our Videx kennel, and several are owned by others. GSD exhibitors have a greater responsibility these days to make every effort to keep our GSD Show Scene alive and interesting. Videx GSD will try and play its part, and we sincerely hope many others keep their efforts up. Good competition is the lifeblood of our sport, I pray the GSD Breed Council will soon manage to organise amongst it member Clubs, at least ONE GSD BREED CLUB Championship show each and every month of the year. This in itself will provide a much needed stimulus for our GSD Show scene.

My thanks to those who think me worthy of such an important position.

As proposed by West Yks on a BC Agenda and unanimously voted for by the Clubs BRIAN WOOTON is our nominated Kennel Club Laison Officer for the very fact of his IN Depth Breed Knowledge and as a Professor he has superb communication skills .

I see no reason whatsoever to look any further than the IDEAL person the BC has already placed in an OFFICIAL  LAISON position for the Breed.  So you see Paulie the BC can get some things right if the Idea is acted upon by a proposal and the rest of the Clubs bother to support it by making a vote.

As for Kerry's suggestions, one of her suggestions has'nt even bothered to register a vote on our current Ballot so how could any of us possibly have the confidence to vote for such a person to represent OUR BREED.?

I would also think that Brian Wootton is the ideal person, so it would be nice to see how others and he feel about it..  He certainly has the knowledge and the where-with-all and is a very presentable person to speak with on our behalk I think.

Well done Sue.

Good post Sue, yes i agree you do not get any better than Brian Wootton, and would be ideal for the job. liz

by Kerry-anne on 24 February 2009 - 12:02

I must apologize for my North V South statement, but sometimes it seems the same old click of people.

Ryan Rambridge does not go on David Payne's web site.  But they signed the GSD League Website petition which I think is just as good.   Brian Wootton has not signed David Paynes Ballot either, so where does the land lie there?   Maybe Brian Wootton does not have a computer as not everybody does and they may not read this messageboard.  I do also think Brian Wootton is a good choice and would like to add another person who I think would be a good spokesman is Mr John Ward.

I  do think a man is better to be our GSD press officer then a woman in my opinion, I am a bit old fasioned in that respect.

Regards

Kerry Ayling

Brian Wootton's good for me... now he nver used to have a 'phone, so I doubt he has a computer!

I'm not old fashioned, but I do think it's important to have someone capable.
