It's funny, when we walked back to the barn I deffinately recognized her bark... She was very anxious and was pulling the man forward too me. He said she remembers you... she has always been a little timid to strangers... By this time, she was jumping all over me. I brought her in the house when we returned and she just greeted all the kids. The youngest (16 mos.) had a hot dog that I expected her to grab but she just sniffed it and walked away... She is very good inside and even got used to riding in the buggy with the man... I love the names you all have suggested...

Welcome Home Anke! So glad there is a happy ending and you could stop banging your head!
(Just wondering how anyone could go for so long without giving a pup a name, I mean, not even, "Hey You"!)

Anke in German meaning god has favored, god is gracious.
I believe "hey you" and "get outta there" may have been her name.... LOL
My head ache has somewhat subsided.. :)

WOW, the roller coaster is finally over, Whoo, Hoo :-)) She is a very pretty little girl. So glad you got her back. She reminds me of my Anka (hence they have the same father). Now I hope you are able to put a STOP to this Lisa from doing this to other people/breeders. Good luck in court :-)) Please keep us updated on how the court and how Anke is doing.

I also have followed this story. It is wonderful that she is home. What I do not understand is why she would give this dog for free to someone and not give her back to you.
Also, I do not think they ever forget kindness and a loving home. To watch these dogs be rehomed, home after home, breaks my heart. The lady that had her should never be allowed to own another one.......
